My Friend is Out

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to follow up and let y'all know that my friend Yousef is out of prison on $750 bail, and is doing okay. He is being charged with destruction of property, but no trial date is set yet from what I could find out. Thanks to everyone who gave money or sent words of support - this isn't over yet though. For those of you in Minneapolis, there is a conference coming up I'd highly recommend you check out, especially if you're looking to become more involved. I am involved in the Cafe Intifada in the evening, which is an interactive theatre piece definitely worth checking out. I might also be speaking a bit at the conference, but I'm not sure about that yet.
